Every girl's time of first blood is usually the onset of menses.  But what happens if a girl's first bloodletting experience takes place before she reaches the milestone of puberty when she encounters those with insatiable lust for children.  Meet a girl who is repeatedly molested to the point that she rejects her breasts and womb, switches gender lanes, and begins a passionate, cut and dried, yet murky hunt for a man who opportunistically hurts women and children and depicts them shredded of humanity.  In this unbuttoned look at underground pornography, a sexual abuse survivor makes it through tough times without losing her markers for empathy, and struggles with the realization that she was both made and ruined by men's behaviour.  At times hesitant and bold, this novel's overriding theme is that it takes something strong to make someone strong.  This graphic, informative and intriguing read about the epidemic of child abuse is a frank expose of the plague that stalks global society.
