Descrição

He who is lonesome in the crowd sees thee,

Indeed, sees thee and thy lonely self,

Unable to fathom the affection which yields,

Drowns himself in the blissful sea.

He became rapt in his own misconception. How long would his misunderstanding have its wondrous effect? Perhaps a century later, on a gigantic figure in the performing arts and an ordinary girl, a writer to whom Zola had already communicated the truth about the amazing triangle. True, she was unsuccessful in communicating it to the professor, who was living a delusive life, embracing and worshipping his own misconception, the headstrong fallacy.

It was, indeed, the supreme wisdom of the incomparable, everywhere and all around.
