After celebrating the release of his brother and the rest of the Mikana men from the meeting hall, Maxim is more determined than ever to understand what happened with his kind and the real connection that the Order has with the Klimnu. When he and Ivy reveal their plan to return to the kingdom and talk more to Ellora about their father's death, however, Kyven is not as receptive as Maxim would have wanted him to be and calls into question his own memories of what happened that terrible night.

Meanwhile, the time has come for the Denynso and humans back at the compound to board the shuttles to bring them back to Earth. Eden and Leia each have their own personal reaches to stepping inside shuttles again, and one warrior must confront a sudden and unexpected change that leaves him vulnerable.
