This collection of gripping crime stories
has become a classic.
The idyllic village in the Swiss mountains with its iconic luxury
hotel is not what it seems: some of the guests do not have
relaxation and winter sport on their minds — but murder.
Death comes in many guises and in the most unlikely
locations: in the cosy surroundings of hotel bars, on sunlit ski
slopes and on thin ice.
At last, connoisseurs of crime fiction all over the world can
enjoy an English translation of these evocative tales of dark
foreboding. This book makes a wonderful travel companion, or
one can stay at home by the fire and enter a fascinating world
of passion and revenge.
Ulrich Knellwolf, a true master of irony and the
tongue-in-cheek, has produced a captivating collection of
wicked page-turners.
